Happy 2017, everybody!
2016 was an absolutely crazy year for me. I had the privilege of working with so many of you, and I hope that number continues to grow this year. Growing a business is hard work, especially when my time is also divided between a full time job and grad school, but I am so happy with the progress that Hannah Michelle Photography has made in the last year.
To celebrate this new beginning, I wanted to take some time to put new spins on some of my older sessions that I haven’t fully shared with the world. This session I did with Jenna at Atlanta Prison Farm was one of my absolute favorite sessions of last year. I mean it when I say I have never been in a place like this before. The ruins of a former prison are covered from top to bottom in graffiti, and the smell of ash still lingers from a past fire. It was a bit creepy at first, I’m not going to lie, but by the time we got warmed up, our creative juices were flowing and we got some amazing shots from this grungy little place. Jenna brought her A-game the entire time, too.
I edited this session a few months ago, so if you’ve seen any shots already, I’ve updated to fit a darker, moodier style that I feel fits really nicely with the setting. Hope you enjoy!
