Never be afraid of the rain! Weather in Atlanta has been crazy this winter, and spring has deemed no different. Michelle and Mike (and their sweet dog Oakley) braved the rain with me for their Atlanta engagement session at Garrard Landing Park. This weather has me hoping that April showers really do bring May flowers!
If you’ve been following me for a while, you’ll know that Garrard Landing is one of my favorite photoshoot locations. It’s gorgeous year round, and every time I go there it’s a little bit different. The field that is typically dry is now sprouting with new grass, just in time for spring sessions. My favorite think about Garrard Landing, besides the gorgeous field, is the variety. There’s a super cute covered bridge, another bridge made of stone, and a few different paths that all make great backdrops.
Mike proposed to Michelle with the sweetest dog tag that read “Will you marry my dad?” Naturally, Oakley had to come with them to our session. She was an all star in front of the camera. It only took a few treats to get her to cooperate 🙂
Michelle and Mike were so much fun to work with. Mike is hilarious and had Michelle (and me) laughing for our entire session. I love working with couples who can make each other laugh and smile with ease, and these two were the prime example of that. I am so looking forward to working with them again when they get married in October!
